Youth Association 4 Human Development & Awakening Strong Minds – Emotional Education
One of the many barriers to learning is the inability to focus due to distractions caused by the lack of training and education of handling life issues and upsets. With all of the dysfunction in our community, in our home, our youth are ill prepared to process, understand or handle emotional issues. Emotional Education allows them to express and release the emotional pain that keeps them from believing in themselves and realizing their full potential. This starts as a 3 day intensive then continues throughout the program with counselors available at the end of the day for one on one continued care. Each morning class starts with emotional education to enable the child to release any negative emotional tension and start their day with a positive attitude, an open mind and ends with daily affirmations.
YA4HD focuses on facilitating and providing resources and employment for at-risk youth and adults as well as underdeveloped communities as a whole through:
